About RoosterDuds.com
When I was a child, my Dad would come home from work and ask Mom, "Well,
were our little Roosters good today? " referring to my brother and me.
Remembering this, I have frequently referred to my Son as a Rooster, most often
when he was getting Cocky, at about age 13 !!
During a short vacation to Virginia in 2001, I was telling the story to friends and recalling how hard it was for me, a tall thin Rooster, as a teenager to buy clothes that fit. At 6 feet tall and only 155 lbs, I needed a 28 inch waist and 34 inch inseams. For shirts, it was worse. When I got a sleeve long enough, the body was much too big. After tossing this back and forth for a while, I thought perhaps there would be a market for clothes designed to fit the tall thin Roosters and the idea for RoosterDuds.com was hatched.
We intend to focus, for now, on the manufacturing and direct sales of Blue Jeans and T Shirts for the tall thin Roosters and will soon have matching frocks for his Favorite Hen. (www.henfrocks.com). Our website is designed to be basic and load fast with a 56 K modem. We know from experience that Roosters are sometimes very impatient.
